Overview
The plutonium production complex on the Columbia river that fuelled the Fat Man bomb. Nine reactors and five reprocessing canyons ran through the cold war, leaving 56 million gallons of radioactive tank waste and the largest environmental cleanup in the United States. The B Reactor, the first full scale plutonium reactor, is preserved as a museum.
