Overview
First full scale commercial nuclear plant in the United States, a 60 MW pressurized water reactor on the Ohio River near Pittsburgh built with navy reactor knowhow from Hyman Rickover. It operated from 1957 to 1982 and the site was cleared to greenfield, the pattern for later American PWRs.
