Overview
Three pressurized water reactors totaling about 3,900 MW in the Arizona desert west of Phoenix, the largest generator of electricity in the United States for over 30 straight years. It is the only American nuclear plant not sited on a large water body, cooling with treated municipal wastewater, with licenses into the 2040s.
