Overview
Three reactors 25 miles north of New York City that supplied roughly a quarter of the city and lower Hudson Valley power. Shut in 2021 under a political agreement, spent fuel is moving to dry casks and dismantlement proceeds. The first unit began in 1962, among the earliest US commercial stations.
