Overview
Units 3 and 4 at Waynesboro Georgia were the first new US reactors ordered after Three Mile Island, Westinghouse AP1000 passive safety designs. Unit 3 entered service in 2023 and unit 4 in 2024, years late and far over budget, yet the only recent full scale completions in the country.
