Overview
An island site on the Baltic coast with two BWRs and Olkiluoto 3, a 1,600 MW EPR finally delivered in 2023 after 18 years, lifting nuclear to about a third of Finnish power. The adjacent Onkalo repository, the worlds first deep geological spent fuel store, completes the site.
